Before joining Vantage Markets, Ken spent more than three years at Trip.com Group as Regional Organic Marketing Manager for Southeast Asia and Attractions. He worked on search growth for one of the world's largest online travel platforms, operating across complex marketplace structures spanning millions of dynamic pages, large-scale templates, localised content, destination demand, and cross-functional product environments.

During this period, the areas he led or contributed to recorded significant organic growth, with organic orders across Southeast Asia and the global Attractions and Tours business growing several-fold, alongside a substantial improvement in conversion rate.

Ken is particularly interested in the evolution from traditional search engine optimisation to generative discovery. He has developed GEO frameworks, built tools to inspect AI fan-out queries, and designed methods for analysing brand mentions, cited sources, cited pages, competitive visibility, and topic opportunities across AI-generated answers — how a brand earns visibility and trust in generative search.

His technical approach is practical rather than theoretical. He works with SQL, BigQuery, analytics systems, crawling tools, Python-based automation, WordPress, modern JavaScript frameworks, APIs, and AI models to solve search and operational problems. He regularly builds prototypes and internal tools, while working closely with specialist engineers for production systems.

Ken also builds independent projects at the intersection of search, AI, and publishing. Thinking Notes is an AI application designed to turn structured inputs, reusable prompts, and connected data into practical AI tools. He is also rebuilding SBO.sg as a useful Singapore business publication, resource hub, and scalable company directory.

Ken holds a Master's degree in Information Systems from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
